Alittle About Me

Hi, I’m Andrew


I was born and raised in West Africa, with its exotic animal, vast desserts, and stunning sunsets becoming my own personal backyard. My parents are missionaries and imbedded in me a deep love for travel, nature, and God. In 2023, I married Madi, the love of my life! We are very much coastal beach lovers, and moved to Wilmington, NC to begin our life together, pursuing God and each other.

Love of nature


My youth was spent caring for wild animals, going on road trips, and making nature a playground. I fell in love with caring for this Creation we live in and freezing its beauty in photographs. My favorite photoshoots are environmental, incorporating the beauty of nature around us into the art that is a picture. From destination Elopements to a LinkedIn headshot, I love to incorporate the great outdoors!

Photography


If God and His creation is my first true love, and my stunning wife Madi is my second, then photography is the third! It started with little Andrew making home video documentaries, to taking picture for the family on vacations. One door after another, and I found myself graduating with a B.S. in Art and Photography. I don't know where this career will take me, but I am ready for where God leads. I can't wait to see what scenes and portraits I will capture!

Interesting Facts


  • I grew up taking care of wild animals, and had a small zoo of 21 pets at one point!
  • My first camera was a film Nikon N65, and have a big respect for photographers that still shoot on film.
  • My hobbies include origami, dog training, lego, and haunt acting.
